The Morgan Library's major expansion, designed by the Renzo Piano Building Workshop, required the design of a permanent "casework family" that resides seamlessly in both the contemporary and historic spaces of the new Morgan. The cases feature soft leather hand rests for numerous table cases, in-case LED lighting, and an innovative kit-of-parts book mount display system that literally floats the books on the decks of the cases.

The prior use of walls by the museum was deemed problematic by our firm.  We developed the “Easel Wall-Table” that effectively displays small framed artworks while permitting the visitor see everything and to feel part of the whole room.

We designed the first exhibit of “Masterpieces from the Collection” for the 2006 opening and in 2009, we designed “Drawing Babar” for the historic gallery spaces.
